Our commission fee for Old Hickory Estate Sales is typically 35-50% of the total sales, depending on the extent of services provided. We offer a free initial consultation to discuss your needs and provide a customized commission rate.

Old Hickory Estate Sales serves Hoke, Moore, Cumberland, and Scotland Counties in Central North Carolina. If you live outside of these areas, please feel free to reach out to us and we may be able to assist or refer you to another estate sale company in your area.

You can drop us a line on our website or give us a call. You will need to provide your first and last name, telephone number, email address, estate address, and details about your estate. We will schedule a day to meet at your estate and discuss the details of our services as well as take photos of the belongings that you want sold. You will receive a detailed proposal with an estimated value of your belongings and a customized commission rate. If you accept the proposal, we will schedule a time for our team to get started setting up and schedule the sale. NOTE:  Once we visit your estate and collect our information, you must notify us of any items that are to be removed from the sale. Removing items may require an updated proposal and commission rate.

When attending an estate sale, the most important thing to remember is that you are in someone's home. Be respectful of their home and property. Do not remove items that are attached or fastened. If you need help, ask a staff member. Items that are marked NFS are Not For Sale. Be mindful of the walls, doors, other furniture, and other customers when removing your purchased items. Rooms or areas that are clearly marked "Do Not Enter" are off limits. This may include restrooms.
